A tabby cat from Watford has been chosen to star in a Pets at Home’s advertising campaign.
The retailer launched a search for real life footage of pets last year, after which Alice Byrne, Jack’s owner, entered a short video of his antics.
Now Jack has been selected from thousands of entries to appear in the advertising campaign My Pet Moments, which first aired on Wednesday, April 15.
Jack, who lives with owner Alice in Watford, was filmed enjoying a good scratch on the head over his cone after a trip to the vets.
Alice said: "We got Jack and his brother Ollie in May 2014 from the RSPCA after they had been found left in a box at the side of a road.
"Jack loves being fussed over and he has a special talent of knowing when someone has food on them."
The upcoming campaign focuses on Pets at Home’s services including the Groom Room and Vets4Pets.
Scott Jefferson, marketing director at Pets at Home, said: "My Pet Moments has been created by us and our customers to celebrate the unique relationship UK pet owners have with their pets."
