The Elected Mayor of Watford Dorothy Thornhill opened a new DEBRA charity furniture and electrical shop in Queens Road this week.
The store supports individuals and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) – a painful genetic skin blistering condition which, causes the skin to blister and fall off, in the worst cases, can be fatal.
The Watford branch will specialise in selling furniture and will offer a house clearance service together with a free collection service for furniture and household goods.
