Some new fleecy faces took up residence at a Kings Langley pub last week.

Just less than two weeks old, lambs Minty and Sean are the new attraction at Hunters Bar and Restaurant at The Kings Lodge Hotel, Hunton Bridge.

They will live in the pub garden for the next six months, forming part of the pub’s new pet corner, before moving to a farm in Kings Langley.

Rabbits Chas and Dave and guinea pigs Bubble and Squeak have also made themselves at home in the new pet corner, and they will soon be joined by chickens.

Clive Dodman, owner of The Kings Lodge Hotel, said the pet corner has received a fantastic response, and that it has actually been more popular among grown-ups.

"We wanted something new for the community this year so we got a pet corner," said Mr Dodman.

"No other pubs offer this. We’ve got a library phone box just outside which is quite unique, and now this.

"We like to be a bit different."
