A gym is looking for the most inspirational and dedicated sport and fitness role model in Watford.

The Gym Watford has launched its Be A Game Changer Awards to find individuals in the community who dedicate their time to inspiring women to enjoy the benefits of physical activity.

Those nominated may be a coach at a sports club and dedicate their free time each week to encourage more women and girls to enjoy their chosen sport, or have launched a new fitness class empowering more women to take part in exercise, lose weight, tone up and grow in confidence.

Brigid Mansfield, general manager of The Gym Watford and Personal Trainer, said: "Sometimes all it takes is a little belief and encouragement for someone to adopt a healthier lifestyle, reach their goal weight or enjoy a new sport. This is why we want to recognise the work of our unsung heroes and heroines living in the town. Whatever your story, we want to hear from you."

To enter email 150 words to thegym@promotepr.com explaining why the nomination is deserving and details of their commitment to female sport and fitness in Watford and the results achieved.
