Green fingered residents can take up a council’s offer of free compost as a thank you for recycling.
Watford Borough Council said residents are welcome to pick up one bag of compost from its Wiggenhall Road depot between 4pm and 6pm on Thursday.
The compost is made from the green waste contractors collect from the recycling bins placed by the kerbside.
Residents must take proof of address to the depot if they want to take away a bag of the compost.
