Free compost is being given away to residents in Dacorum to help their gardens grow.
The compost is will be given away by Dacorum Borough Council on Sunday, May 10, between 10am to 1pm at Cupid Green Depot in Redbourn Road, Hemel Hempstead, as part of National Compost Awareness Week.
The compost will be pre-bagged and strictly limited to two bags per vehicle and handed out on a first come, first served basis.
Craig Thorpe, group manager of environmental services, said: "This is a great opportunity to see what your garden waste is made into and to use it again as a nutrient rich compost to grow more plants and vegetables.
"The compost give away has grown in popularity every year and the recycling team look forward to seeing you again."
