Pupils at an Aldenham School staged a special polling day event to coincide with the general elections yesterday.
Throughout the week, children at Edge Grove School had been discussing the General Elections 2015 and have done their own versions.
Selected students were nominated as party leaders and had not only had to deliver a manifesto, but were quizzed by fellow pupils on it.
Polling cards were also designed and pupils were invited to vote on Thursday morning at the polling station held in the school hall. The winner will be announced at an assembly on Friday.
Ben Evans, Headteacher at Edge Grove said "We were keen to take our children on a journey of political discovery this week as they learn not just about the whole election process but also about democratic values, some of the policies out there and the differences between the various parties."
