Watford's annual celebration of diversity in the town will be held on Bank Holiday Monday.

Ethnic, faith and charitable groups are set to showcase and share each other's music, dance, drama, costumes and food during Watford Celebration 2015, which is now in its tenth year.

Organisers said it will be an afternoon of entertainment for the whole family with activities for children to enjoy as well as a sacred space for discussion and reflection.

It will be held on Bank Holiday Monday, May 25, at three adjoining venues in West Watford: The Multi-Cultural Community Centre in Durban Road, Littlebury Hall and St Michaels and All Angels Church.

The free entry event has been sponsored by local groups, businesses, charities and Watford Borough Council and will run from 12pm to 4pm.

There will also be a variety of international foods available at £2 per plate and free parking at the Watford Grammar School for Boys, Rickmansworth Road. Entrance to the parking is on Shepherds Road.

Judith Bruni, committee secretary, said: "We believe in the benefits the Watford Celebration brings to our town, giving the opportunity for the various community groups to meet each other and appreciate each other in a day of celebration and friendship."
