Watford children have tried hockey and tennis for free at a London 2012 venue.
Pupils from Bromet Primary School, Orchard Primary School and Divine Saviour Catholic Primary School enjoyed free hockey and tennis coaching sessions along with 500 other schoolchildren at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on May 19 and 20.
The event was hosted by Lee Valley Regional Park Authority in partnership with the venue operators Lee Valley Leisure Trust.
The primary school pupils, in Years 3 and 4, enjoyed expert coaching in quicksticks, a fun four-a-side taster for hockey, and mini tennis.
