Nepalese Gurkhas came to Watford this week to collect money for the earthquake relief fund.
Members of the Forgotten British Gurkha Association have been raising money to buy food and tents for the earthquake victims.
Organiser Guyanraj Rai said: "We have had news from our families back home - they are safe but they have lost everything.
"We are very worried because the monsoon is on its way so the situation will become even more difficult if we can’t get all the homeless people under cover."
