Transformer Bumblebee was among the children’s favourites who entertained the crowds at the opening of a toy shop in Watford.
Hundreds of shoppers descended on Smyths Toys Superstore on the Waterfields Retail Park on Saturday for the launch event, which also featured appearances from Barbie and Fireman Sam.
Bumblebee was not the only transformer at the opening, with a team of face-painters on hand to give children an imaginative make-over.
The store - one of ten to be opened by the retailer this year - has created 30 jobs and takes over the unit vacated by Borders music and bookshop.
