The newly elected MP for Hertsmere told the House of Commons he also represents Albert Square.
Oliver Dowden said in his maiden speech last week that Elstree studios is the "permanent set of EastEnders".
This therefore, he added "allows me to make a legitimate claim to be the Member of Parliament for Albert Square."
This would mean that the Conservative MP would represent the likes of Phil Mitchell, Ian Beale and Dorothy Branning.
Mr Dowden also pledged to protect Hertsmere's Green Belt in his speech.
He said: "Hertsmere is 80 per cent Green Belt, it lies at the very southern edge of Hertfordshire. It was during childhood walks through these fields that my love of the English countryside was fostered.
"They give us the space to roam and enjoy nature and I am absolutely determined to preserve them from soulless urban sprawl - so that our grandchildren may enjoy them as I have done."
