Drivers have been experiencing an issue with traffic signals intermittently switching out at the Dome Roundabout this week.
Simon Hoggett, spokesman for Hertfordshire County Council, said: "We are aware of the intermittent fault which has developed in the traffic light control unit at the Dome roundabout.
"Engineers are working hard to rectify the problem. A software update was made on Friday morning and the junction is now being monitored to see if this has solved the issue."
