Firefighters were called to a house in Mill End earlier today after a cigarette dropped between a gap in the floor.
Crews from Watford Fire Station were called to Berry Lane, Mill End, at 11.45am after smoke was seen coming from underneath the laminate flooring in the property.
But when the fire crews arrived, the fire had gone out and no action was required.
