Garston Manor school’s first summer fair in 10 years was a “great success”.
Pupils and their families enjoyed bouncy castles, raffles, tombola, face painting, nail art, jewellery stalls and a barbeque at the event on Saturday, July 4.
The school’s PTA, who organised the fair, said £750 was raised throughout the day which will go towards a sensory garden for pupils' enjoyment at the Horseshoe Lane secondary.
Esme Reynolds, chair of the PTA and literacy and numeracy leader at Garston Manor, said: “It was a really good event, we haven’t done a summer fair for about 10 years but this one was a great success.
“The money raised will be going on our sensory garden – which will be installed for the children to come back to in September.”
