An application to build flats on a Bushey Heath landmark will be consulted on by councillors at a meeting tomorrow.
The Bushey Heath Residents Association (BHRA) have been petitioning against the proposals submitted by Banner Homes Central to build 38 flats on The Paddock in Elstree Road.
They propose to build four blocks of flats and a semi-underground car park, which BHRA say is too big.
A petition, with more than 1,400 signatures was submitted to Hertsmere MP, Oliver Dowden, who will be presented at the planning committee meeting at civic offices in Borehamwood.
