A project to help Watford and Three Rivers residents with learning disabilities find housemates has been launched with a coffee morning.

The Mates, Dates and Housemates project, working with members of the Watford and Three Rivers Community Learning Disability Team, held the coffee morning to answer questions about how attendees could find a housing solution that works for them.

Organisers helped explain how those who attended could find like-minded people with a learning disability who might be good housemates, or where they could find somewhere to live together if they already know who they would like to share with.

There will be another Housemate Hunt meeting on Wednesday, September 2.

The team are also holding a seven-week Developing Friendships course on Thursdays 10.30am to 12.30pm at the Children's Centre.

The course starts on Thursday, September 10.
