Police and paramedics have been called to Watford High Street after a man collapsed outside Nationwide.
An ambulance, ambulance officer and the Herts Air Ambulance raced to the town centre at around 1.30pm today and treated the man, thought to be in his 50s, for head injuries.
The police were also at the scene and helped paramedics get the patient to the air ambulance (pictured below).
He was flown to the Royal London Hospital in critical condition.
