Homemade tea, cakes and honey are just some of the things people can enjoy at the Reveley Lodge Gardens this weekend.

The gardens will be opening in aid of the National Gardens Scheme charity (NGS) on Sunday, August 9.

Craftsmen Rod Sandy and Jim Whitaker will be there selling their handmade jugs, bowls and walking sticks with 10 per cent of proceedings going to NGS. Alongside them The Shaw Trust will be selling plants from their nursery.

The event is taking place at 88 Elstree Road, Bushey Heath from 2pm until 6pm.

Last year the event raised £1,600 and organisers hope to exceed that this year.
