New development plans at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden and Warner Bros. Studio Tour London were put up for discussion at a public consultation.

Warner Bros. is currently looking to construct additional sound stages and workshops to support film production.

Rachel Parsons, spokesman for Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, said: "During the public consultation we shared our long-term vision.

“At this stage it’s too early to go into specific details for longer term plans, however, the aspiration is to continue to build on the success of Warner Bros. Studio Leavesden and to support the economic development of the area.

"We received a good response and are now going through the process of reviewing all the comments.

"We are looking to submit our final application to Three Rivers Council after the summer at which point the plans will be made available via the normal planning channels."

Leavesden Councillor Sara Bedford added: “Warner Bros. has always taken their responsibility to public consultation very seriously.

"The consultation event had larger master plans, rather than detailed proposals, so it is difficult to give a firm opinion on the plans.

“Local councillors, like other residents, will be waiting to see the details and will then make their comments to Three Rivers.

"Since they first arrived at Leavesden, Warner Bros. has worked hard to become a part of the local community. I hope we can continue to have a constructive relationship going forward."
