GCSE surgeries will be set up at the Watford UTC to offer support and advice to students who are unsure what to do having received their results tomorrow.

The team is keen to help anyone interested in a career in computer science, travel and tourism or hospitality and event management who is still considering their options, may be wondering if they’ve made the right choice, or didn’t get the results they wanted and need to consider other routes.

One-to-one consultations with the principal of the Watford UTC, off Colonial Way, are available on on tomorrow from 12pm to 2pm and Friday from 10am and 1pm. Booking in advance is not required.

Emma Loveland, principal of the Watford UTC, said: “It’s devastating for both students and their parents when the results are not what they were hoping for, but please don’t panic.

"If your young person is interested in the areas we offer, do come and speak to us.

"We can help students get industry recognised qualifications through personalised learning programmes designed to help them achieve their goals.”

Watford UTC offers a set of technical qualifications as well as their GCSEs and A Levels.

In addition to the GCSE surgeries, the UTC will also be holding information events on Thursday, September  3, between 4.30pm and 6pm and Saturday, September 12, from 10am to 12pm. For more information contact 01923 905240 or visit www.watfordutc.org.
