A mum of three is hosting a charity fun day in Bushey to raise money for research into a fertility illness.

Jane Newman, from Borehamwood, suffers from secondary infertility - a condition a associated with the inability to get pregnant after giving birth to a one or more children.

The 34-year-old set up Completing the Family at the end of last year, a charity which is a strand of the The Rachel Foundation, that raises money for research into the condition.

Ms Newman said: "Last year I started writing a blog to share my story and offer hope, help and support to those who might be going through similar turmoil.

"Now I want to raise money to support those people."

On September 6, Ms Newman will be hosting the first fundraising event at St Margaret's School in Merry Hill Road.

The fun day will include games, bouncy castles, face painting, children's entertainment, raffles, food and more.
