There are delays on the M25 after a car caught fire.

The incident happened at 6.10am on the exit slip road at junction 20 (Kings Langley) on the anti-clockwise carriageway.

Firefighters from Garston and Kings Langley attended the scene.

Watch commander Chris Merritt said when they arrived the car was well alight and took them 20 minutes to put the fire out.

No-one was injured but emergency services are still blocking part of the exit slip road.

There is queuing traffic for five miles going back to junction 22 (St Albans).

Drivers have been advised to avoid the area if possible.
