A class from a Watford secondary school appeared on This Morning to discuss issues worrying pupils ahead of the new school term.
ITV’s Jeff Brazier visited a group of Year 11 pupils at Westfield Academy last week to find out how to tackle some common school stress-inducing factors.
Key topics of discussion included exams, moving schools and making friends – all identified as causes of worry to pupils and parents alike.
The piece, which was filmed on Wednesday, September 2, was broadcast to millions of viewers of the ITV morning show on Thursday, September 3.
This Morning anchors, Peter Schofield and Holly Willoughby, introduced the piece from the studio.
Emma McGroarty, Westfield Academy’s teaching and learning lead, said far from being starstruck, the Watford students were able to answer some pretty searching questions.
She said: “I was so, so proud of our students, they did brilliantly in front of the cameras.”
