Budding artists can hone their skills and try out new techniques at a Big Draw day hosted by Watford Museum.

A team of artists will be showing visitors how to turn inspiration into art in a range of free activities for children and adults alike on Saturday, October 3, as the museum takes part in the national event.

Visitors can drop in between 11am and 4pm to try out clay sculpting, portrait drawing and take part in a treasure hunt.

The museum’s collections and historic building will provide the inspiration for visitors’ art based on the National Campaign for Drawing's theme of 'every object tells a story'.

Drinks and author-themed cakes will be available in the Big Draw Gallery tearoom.

The Big Draw is part of a nationwide Big Draw festival run by the Campaign for Drawing.
