A scheme to help children become healthier and fitter will start a new programme in Watford.

Non-profit organisation BeeZee Bodies launched the 17-week programme yesterday at Leavesden Green Community Centre, in conjunction with Watford Community Housing Trust and Hertfordshire County Council.

Stuart King, CEO of BeeZee Bodies, said: "At BeeZee Bodies we try to help people change some key behaviours by being real - this means that our awesome delivery staff are approachable, fun and knowledgeable.

"We know making changes can be hard, so all decisions to make healthier choices are driven by families themselves with their own experiences and circumstances in mind - small changes for big benefits."

Gemma Miller, community hubs team leader at Watford Community Housing Trust, added: "I’m excited to work with BeeZee Bodies, their mission is very inspiring and a great cause.

"As part of the trust’s mission to build healthier, friendlier and wealthier communities, it is a great opportunity to partner with this organisation dedicated to encouraging healthier lifestyles for children."
