Pupils from a Bushey primary school won a tour around 10 Downing Street after writing their own manifestos.
Children from Little Reddings School in Harcourt Road, visited the cabinet room, the state dining room and saw portraits of past prime ministers.
Head teacher, Carly Simmonds, said: "The children got to have their photo taken outside the famous front door. They met the Downing Street cat and were very excited when they spotted David Cameron in his car - he even waved.
"This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for our pupils and visit a place that is not available to the public. They had a fantastic time."
