A vast array of colour swept over Northwood last weekend as volunteers tried to raise £15,000 for a hospice.
More than 150 people took part in the #colourdash to raise money for the Michael Sobell Hospice, Rickmansworth Road, Northwood on Sunday.
Runners started the 5k route with a blank white t-shirt and sunglasses and were pelted with different coloured paint along the route.
With sponsorship money still coming in, volunteers hope to raise in excess of £15,000.
The paint stations were manned by a team of volunteer students from Brunel University who threw the paint on all of the runners.
Melanie Burfitt, Director of Income Generation at Michael Sobell Hospice, said “Thank you to everyone who came along and supported this event which will raise much needed funds to help local people with life-limiting illnesses.
“It costs £6,000 a day to maintain our current levels of care, £2,500 of which is provided by fundraising, so the funds raised from this event will really make a difference.“
