A money collection by the Abbots and Kings Langley branch of the Royal Air Forces Association raised their biggest sum to date.
Over the weekend of September 18 and 19 a sum of £1,328.29 by volunteer street collectors.
The money will go towards their Wings Appeal, an on-going fundraising campaign that runs throughout the year.
Welfare officer and social secretary at the RAFA Abbots and Kings Langley branch, Pat Hayes, said: "It was a very successful weekend and the largest sum that has ever been raised on our annual street collections.
"The new wings organiser, John Dicks, was amazed and thrilled at the amount donated by the very generous public and extends his thanks to all who donated and to the volunteers who collected on behalf of the RAFA."
