The founders of an American-style childrens' camp in Bushey appeared in court today over charges relating to child neglect and perverting the course of justice.
Directors Ben Lewis and Tal Landsman of LL Camps, along with two others, have appeared at St Albans Magistrates Court.
Mr Lewis, of Lullington Garth, Borehamwood, has been charged with child neglect and two counts of perverting the course of justice.
The 25-year-old also faces three separate charges of the possessing indecent images of a child. He was remanded in custody.
Mr Landsman has been charged with child neglect and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice. Mr Landsman, 25, of Admiral Drive, Stevenage, has been released on bail.
Mr Landsman's mother, Adrianne Landsman, 56, of Gresham Road, Edgware, has been charged with conspiracy to wilfully neglect children so as to expose them to risk of harm. She has also been released on bail.
Mr Lewis's father, Larry Lewis, of Lullington Garth, Borehamwood faces a single charge of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice. The 56-year-old was also released on bail.
All four will now appear before St Albans Crown Court on October 23.
