Poundworld in Watford has closed its doors after not renewing its lease.
The High Street store closed on Tuesday and remains closed today, with a sign outside reading: "This store is closed until further notice".
Louise Greenwell said on behalf of the chain that the store had closed after the short term lease was not renewed with the landlord.
She added that the company is looking for another store in town.
