A lucky ten-year-old has snapped up a piece of artwork for a tenth of the usual price after contacting the artist directly.
Dylan Bakshi, 10, contacted artist Pure Evil in a bid to buy a Charlie Brown Nightmare painting.
However, the painting was completely sold out on the artist’s website so he contacted the artist in a bid to secure a painting.
But after contacting the artist, Dylan received the following response: “I showed my wife your email, and she thinks I should offer you a special discount for being so awesome.
“How does £40 sound? (Special one off never to be repeated again deal) Usually it’s 10 times that, but your email was so cool.”
Dylan then bought the picture for £40.
The picture has now taken pride of place at the ten-year-old’s home.
