People with chronic health conditions can check the air pollution in Three Rivers to avoid getting caught out without medication.

A new text service has been launched by Three Rivers District Council and residents will be able to check the levels of pollution in the air.

A message details air pollution, UV, pollen and temperature forecasts.

The service helps individuals make informed health decisions and assist them in planning for the day ahead to ensure they have any necessary medication at hand.

In addition forecasts for the next three days can be accessed via the website www.airtext.info, using the free airText smart phone app or by following the Twitter account airtext_3RIVERS.
