Members of the Bushey and Radlett Community Safety Partnership (CSP) can now elect their chair through postal vote.

Before, a new chair was elected by a vote from those who attended a meeting on a specific day.

However, at a previous meeting, members, particularly residents who don't attend all the meetings, raised concerns about ensuring everyone is involved in the election process.

To resolve the issues, it was announced at the meeting last night that CSP members can now vote via post or online.

Nominations are currently open and close on October 23.

Members will then be emailed or posted a ballot with the nominations for chairman and vice-chairman, which need to be returned by November 20.

More information about the voting system and CSP can be found on Hertsmere Borough Council's website.
