Residents at a community meeting in Abbots Langley said goodbye to their safer neighbourhood sergeant.
Sergeant Neil Canning, who has worked with the neighbourhood team for five years, will be leaving the post on November 30 to join the Rickmansworth team.
During his time in Abbots Langley he has helped tackle a number of drug problems, including a house which had been turned into a canabis factory, as well as issues relating to thefts, burglaries and vandalism.
Sergeant Canning, who attended the Abbots Langley Forum tonight for the last time, will be replaced by a neighbourhood team member from St Albans.
