A dumper truck has been stolen in Bushey and police are appealing for witnesses.
Between 4.30pm on November 4 through to around 7am on the following day, thieves forced their way onto a building site on Grange Road via Belmont Road in Bushey.
A dumper truck, a plate compactor, disc cutter and other hand tools were stolen and the thieves also tried to take a digger but were unsuccessful.
PC Phil Tuck, from the Bushey and Radlett Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “I would appeal to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area around the time of the offence to get in touch.
“If you have seen this truck recently or have any information about the whereabouts of any of the stolen items please contact us.”
Police have released an image of the dumper truck and are asking for witnesses to come forward.
Anyone with information should contact Hertfordshire Constabulary on the non-emergency number 101.
