Neighbours have given their reactions after a possible stabbing.

A man presented himself at hospital with injuries believed to be stab wounds on Wednesday evening after police were called to Gammons Lane, Watford at 8.07pm.

One neighbour, who wishes to remain anonymous, said she is now worried about her children coming home late at night.

The police have taped off the corner of St George's Road and houses on one side of Gammons Lane.

Police officers are still investigating the scene and police guards are still on site.

Linda Russell, of Gammons Lane, said: "I saw police cars outside and that is all I know.

"When will we find out what is happening?"

The injured man has been discharged from the hospital.

Anyone with information should contact Hertfordshire Constabulary on the non-emergency number 101.
