Police cordoned off a road in Watford today after a man was found in a "serious condition".
Officers were called to The Avenue in Watford at 5.30am following reports of the concern for welfare of a man.
An ambulance was also called to the scene and the man was taken to Watford General Hospital in a serious condition and he has since died.
The police are not treating his death as suspicious at this time.
