A Norwich City supporters’ coach was damaged when vandals threw stones at it following a Hornets game.
The Club Canary coach was heading away from Vicarage Road after City’s 2-0 defeat when it was targeted by a group believed to be Watford fans.
They approached the coach in Hempstead Road (below) at around 5.35pm and threw a large stone at one of the windows causing the outer pane to shatter.
PC James Stopford is investigating and said: “There were a number of people about at the time who would have seen this group on bikes and I would ask anyone who witnessed what happened or who saw them before or after the incident to please contact me.
"At one point they cycled through the underpass onto The Parade.”
Anyone who has any information which would assist the investigation is asked to contact the Herts Police non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference number C1/15/5697.
