Cars parked in the same area in Watford had their tyres deliberately punctured over the course of a week.

Between Thursday, December 3 and Wednesday, December 9, ten cars parked in Brocklesbury Close, St Pauls Way and Raphael Drive had damage caused to their tyres.

The offender had used a sharp implement to puncture them - in most causes both wheels on the side of the car closest to the pavement when the car was parked were punctured.

All the crimes occurred during the day or early evening.

Police investigating these incidents would like to warn residents and appeal to them to report any suspicious activity to officers as soon as is possible.

Sergeant Tom Fisher said: “I would ask local residents to be on the lookout for suspicious activity around parked cars. A significant amount of damage has been caused to the cars now, at cost to their owners.

“If you see anything suspicious, witness anything or have any information about who might be doing this, I would ask you to contact my team as soon as possible.”
