Two people involved in the child abuse case at a former American-style summer camp in Bushey have had the charges against them dropped.

Adrianne Landsman, 56, of Gresham Road, Edgware faced a single charge of conspiracy to wilfully neglect children so as to expose them to risk of harm at LL Camps, which was based at St Margaret's School.

Larry Lewis, 55, of Lullington Garth, Borehamwood, was charged with perverting the course of justice.

The prosecution at St Albans Crown Court said today it was discontinuing the case against the pair.

The case against the directors of LL Camps - Ben Lewis and Tal Landsman, will continue.

Mr Lewis, formerly of Lullington Garth, Borehamwood, faces seven charges.

They include one court of making indecent images of a child, two charges of taking indecent photographs of a child, one count of attempting to observe a person doing a private act as well as two charges of perverting the course of justice and a single charge of child neglect.

The 25-year-old was granted bail last month and his bail address is in Kent.

Mr Landsman, 25, of Crambus Court, Admiral Drive, Stevenage, is accused of child neglect and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

A trial date has been set for week commencing May 23, 2016 and is expected to last three weeks.
