If we were to guess the preferred mode of transport for the top team in the Premier League we'd probably pick sports cars or even private jets.
Delayed commuters were in for a pleasant surprise yesterday as Arsenal players were spotted boarding a train from Watford Junction ahead of their Liverpool game.
The side were mobbed by fans as their travelled through the station at around 6pm (below).
Photographs appeared on Twitter of the likes of Theo Walcott and manager Arsene Wenger.
It is not clear what train the players caught but they were likely to have come from the club’s London Colney training ground.
The match at Anfield will kick off tonight at 8pm.

Why are Arsenal hanging about at Watford junction & not flying to Liverpool, polluting the air & boiling lots of piss in the process?
