Students from a college in Watford set up a stall to raise money for their Dragons’ Apprentice Challenge in aid of Herts Inclusive Theatre.

The West Herts College students are taking part in the W3RT Dragons’ Apprentice Challenge and opened a stall in the college from 12pm to 3pm on January 28.

The team were the only ones who produced a product – Sweet Cones – just for this purpose and they also had a game on the stall with a £25 voucher for the Prince of Bengal Restaurant.

In the challenge is a community initiative from the Centre of Voluntary Service and it provides a platform which links students from schools and colleges with businesses across the county.

Teams are matched with a business mentor and have to ‘turn £100 into £1,000 or more’ for their designated charity/community organisation.

The students’ business mentor is Watford Borough Council’s Rabi Martins.
