Green event will help you to fight climate change

A two-week campaign encouraging Barnet residents to tackle climate change and reduce their impact on the environment will take place at Brent Cross shopping centre next month.

The Green Matters event will include exhibits and demonstrations and will offer shoppers an opportunity to sample eco-friendly products.

There will also be competitions, with prizes including Oyster public transport cards and DVDs of former United States vice-president Al Gore's Oscar-winning documentary, An Inconvenient Truth. Green Matters runs from June 2 to 17.
