More than 150 Alumni celebrated the 25th anniversary of Immanuel College, in Bushey.
The former pupils of the college gathered together on January 31 for the anniversary tea whilst reminiscing about their old school days.
Alumni were able to see the physical changes to the school, the growth in size and the success of the Preparatory School.
Gordon Spitz, director of Alumni and head of English, said: “Although the site might look different, with many improved facilities, the family atmosphere and spirit of the school is stronger than ever.
“It is this that makes Immanuel College the wonderful place it is.”
From the annual Alumni Sports Day to reunions, the Alumni and Friends’ Association is growing and is one of the most important aspects of the school’s plans for future growth and development.
Chairman of the Alumni Committee Daniel Tannenbaum said: “Alumni have a role to play in the school; it has shaped our futures and we can contribute by becoming mentors or offering work experience opportunities to pupils at the school.”
Headteacher, Charles Dormer, finished the evening and informed the Alumni of the current academic success of the college.
Mr Dormer revealed that the school ranked 39th in the country for value added.
