Organisers of a charity fundraiser are calling on people to sign up for a 33 mile bike ride through the countryside of south west Hertfordshire.
The Michael Sobell Hospice, Rickmansworth Road, Northwood, has organised the sponsored bike ride for Sunday, April 24.
The 33 mile route will take riders through the streets of Harefield, Rickmansworth, Chorleywood and up towards Bovingdon and Hemel Hempstead.
Riders will then come back through Chipperfield, Sarratt and Croxley Green, before the route takes the cyclists back through Rickmansworth towards Northwood.
Event organiser Ophelia Chambers-Henry said, “This year we hope to attract over 200 cyclists to this event. Last year we had great feedback from the riders and we would like to make the event even bigger this year.”
Participants are being asked to raise £50 in sponsorship for the event.
Organisers have introduced an early bird offer where teams of six can sign up for £15 per person if they sign up before the end of February.
Entry after that is £20 and on the day it is £30.
