Quique Sanchez Flores has hinted he will rotate his Watford side against Manchester United but one player who will miss the trip to Old Trafford is Jose Manuel Jurado.

The Hornets take on Louis van Gaal’s side tomorrow evening knowing victory will move them to 40 points, so often deemed the total needed to secure Premier League survival.

But having battled to a 0-0 draw with Bournemouth on Saturday, and with title chasing Leicester City to come at the weekend, Flores is wary of fatigue.

The Spaniard has suggested changes will be made to his starting XI as Watford go in search of their first ever league victory at Old Trafford.

“I usually don’t plan for more than one match but we are playing three very tough matches in seven days,” Flores explained this morning.

“Two of those teams, Bournemouth and Leicester, are amazing physically.

"And against Manchester United at Old Trafford I know the effort of the players will have to be really big.

“So the most important thing is to be fresh for the match. Maybe we will change players.”

Against Bournemouth at the weekend Flores brought off Etienne Capoue after 57 minutes as he felt the French midfielder was suffering from tiredness.

Flores was asked this morning if Capoue was fit enough to start against the Red Devils. He replied: “He’s a little bit tired. I talk a lot with Capoue and he knows what I demand from him.

"In the last match I felt very quickly that he wasn’t concentrated because he is tired.”

While it seems Flores will have to make a decision over Capoue, he will have to make do without Jurado for the fourth consecutive match.

The attacking midfielder remains sidelined with a calf injury and Flores feels Watford are hindered when the 29-year-old is absent.

“It’s an uncomfortable injury,” Flores said. “The calf is very strange. Sometimes if feels like you’re recovering but you're not. But we are not worried about the injury."

Watford's head coach added: “I’ve said since the beginning of the season, Jurado in our team is very important. When we have him on the pitch we normally play better.

“The results are usually the same but our performances are better because he keeps the ball.”
