Adlene Guedioura has scored several incredible goals during his career but where does the Watford midfielder’s thumping strike against Arsenal rank in the list of his wonder goals?

We’ve opted to narrow them down to a top five. They are in no particular order but his goal against the Gunners is likely to be the most important given it booked the Hornets’ place in an FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.

So that is the only place to start.

When Troy Deeney laid the ball back to the Algerian every Watford supporter inside the Emirates would’ve known what was coming.

Guedioura wound up to shoot and unleashed an unstoppable shot past David Ospina that registered at 86.4 miles per hour.

There was simply no stopping it.

Next up is Guedioura’s second goal in a Hornets shirt. It came against Cardiff City last December.

At the time the midfielder was on loan from Crystal Palace but had endeared himself to the Watfor fans following several all-action displays.

He’d already scored Golden Boys' equaliser before rasping home the Golden Boys’ third of the afternoon is customary stunning fashion.

A goal from August 2013 follows and it came while Guedioura was on international duty with Algeria.

The Desert Warriors were in friendly action against Guinea and had been awarded a ninth minute free-kick.

Madjid Bougherra stood behind the ball and touched it off to Guedioura who, on the turn, lashed his shot into the top corner from 30 yards.

Almost a year and a half earlier and Guedioura was in action for Nottingham Forest against Leeds United in the Championship.

The Reds were trailing 1-0 when Guedioura broke onto the ball and fired an unstoppable shot home from 35 yards.

Forest would go on to win the game at Elland Road 7-3.

The final goal on our list comes from 2010. Again Guedioura is representing Algeria and his side were behind 1-0 in an African Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania.

The midfielder collected the ball 25 yards out, shifted it out of his feet and, with no run up, fired a shot which curled away from the goalkeeper and into the corner.
