Wine and steak were stolen from a petrol station in Mill End.
Hertfordshire Constabulary has released an image of someone they want to speak to after the thefts on Sunday night.
Two bottles of wine were stolen from the BP Express in Uxbridge Road at 7.15pm.
A man returned to the store and stole steak.
Officers said the man walked towards the High Street.
