Cigarettes and scratchcards were stolen after a break-in at a newsagents.

The Hemel Newsagent in Hallowes Crescent, South Oxhey, was broken into last night.

Police believe two teenagers were responsible.

Officers have described the first teenager as in his mid to late teens, and of tall build. He was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, a blue coat with the hood up and black trainers.

The second thief is believed to be a similar age but was wearing a black jacket and dark trainers with white around the sole.

They were seen to leave the shop and head towards Prestwick Road using Hayling Road.
